You get all the perks of the previous Guild Talent system only now they are unlocked by Guild levels.

I think you mean Path of Titans, and it's still in the game only now as the revamped Inscription professsion.

Are you sure you're in the beta?

No thanks, just because you are at the bottom of the rankings and need some newbies to join and therefore you are no longer at the bottom? ;)

I like the idea of Eve, just there is no way for newcomers to catch up and progress :(
In WoW they nipped that problem in the bud by adding dungeon finder across the servers so you could do dungeons/raids and get decent gear to access even higher level stuff, not to mention enjoy the content that perhaps you would miss just grinding/leveling.

what do you mean 'no longer at the bottom'.

In my Corp (which I'm Co-CEO of) we need more people who are new as we are flying big / specialised ships. We need new players to be 'tacklers' (small, fast and cheap) to stop the enemy players running away :(.

Anyways get bored of WOW , get EVE and join nice friendly corp who are new player friendly (which most actually are) .

    :D

Isitari, haven't played in a while but looking to get back in, assuming you're uk based and operate during "normal" hours, any use for a primarily BS pilot?

Guild levels / guild talents system is currently disabled due to balance issues by the blue post on beta forums

Path of titans has been totally removed

The fact it's in inscription is just lol

Not like the game is even hard no more 80-81 took About 12 hrs and the group who did the old dungeons got there in 6 hrs on 20min farms for the 2-500k xp an hr they were grinding out (estimated as mods are disabled)

Ok Here goes. Both MMO'S are good

WOW is the most polished game of its kind and all other immitations are very lacking- WAR, LOTRO, AION etc

The only thing about WOW is that now it is too easy- I have 4 ICC geared 80's and cancelled my subs till Cataclysm last night

I also play Eve which is a far harder game. New players are behind yes but that is the way of the Eve universe

Its slower paced and far more complex than other games and the real fight is boredom if you dont have a good corp who involve you in Mining, Missions, exploration if you have the necessary skills

Getting a good active British or EU timezone corp to let you do these things is a challenge

Both good games and put the others in the shade for the market the aim to dominate

Ohh and any improvement to the WOW graphics is nice!!!:D

Both different but if played in the way they are designed both great timesinks of your life

FF 14 and jumpgate Evo are both currently in beta and both look pretty good

Wow will maintain it's subscriber base till blizzard makes it's next mmo

As they cater to the most players

Game was fun back in tbc, doing every instance twice or 4'times as in totc was what made wow suffer alot of big guilds are lacking players for expansion as the game has lost it's edge.

EVE is still the game you need to play years to get into properly and you need 2 accounts

    Mining / income

    Combat

I like EVE for what it's done though

Must say my Corp has a great time.

We do everything from missions, mining, Wormholing, PvP, manufacturing, invention, investment, corp tournaments and War dec's.

Basically loads of fun and I certainly never have time to get bored :D.

Anyway I'll stop advertising my corp now ;P.

One of my biggest gaming regrets is having never tried EVE, and with the (very) limited amount of gaming I'm currently able to squeeze in, I doubt I ever will. :(

Had some good fun playing WoW quite a few years back though. Me and a bunch of college friends would basically spent hours ganking and griefing people. Had a lot of fun while playing, but I suspect that was mostly down to who I was playing with and not the game itself.

The game has to be decent in some way to enable you to enjoy your experience right?
I'm thinking GTA4 unmodded, the Co-op is ok as it works, but there are very few missions/levels to play so it's not fun.

Although I do spend more time whining in WoW now that I think about it lol, damn puggers that don't type, just pull.

@FelixTech - My understanding is that DX11 is compatible with DX10 graphics cards so games that run on Windows Vista or 7 will use the DX10 code path. There is no need to code a separate DX10 version if you use DX11, both DX10 and DX11 graphics card owners can use it, albeit only those with DX11 cards will get DX11 effects such as tessellation.

This is how Alien vs. Predator works for example, it ran the AvP_DX11 executable when I had my NVIDIA GTX 280 (DX10 card) but ran in DX10 mode (with severe stuttering I might add).
