May i ask what will happen to bit-tech gaming podcast and other stuff that can be categorised as both gaming and hardware? Eg gaming keyboard article.

The gaming podcast will remain, but we've now set it up so that, if you're in the games index, you'll only see the relevant, games content. Such as the podcast.

Articles like keyboard round-ups will, as has been the case for many years, be tagged only as hardware.

I don't like the way you have changed the nav links. If I go to a gaming related article from the bit-tech homepage I expect to be able to click where the 'bit-gamer' logo is to take me back to the 'bit-tech' homepage, not the bit gamer one. Similarly, clicking 'home' on a gaming article takes you to 'bit-gamer' rather than 'bit-tech'. Its obviously not the end of the world but a bit of pain in the ass for people like myself who read most of the articles appearing on the 'bit-tech' homepage.

The best game ever is clearly System Shock 2 and not Ocarina of Time... Forget about that Spank My Monkey Island jibberish that Joe keeps going on about.

Hmmm, looks exactly the same to me.....!

Edit: Strike that, works after posting. Oddly, a couple of hard refreshes didn't do it..

We've change this a bit by removing the 'Home' link, as that was a bit confusing. Gaming still points to 'Gaming Home' and you can use 'Bit-Tech' to reach Bit-tech's front page.

You want to thank us by giving away one of the worst games of the year?? Don't even get me started on the fact its on the PS3 :p

Am I the only person sat here thinking, why? I don't see the benefit this brings, the article doesn't explain the benefits to the reader of this.

The only thing I can think off if that Denis, in the longer term, wants to spin off the Gaming into a new site. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for bit-tech

This is just the first of many games and voucher codes we have to get rid of. The benefit to the reader is that there will be more games content and that it should be more easily distinguished, accessible and laid out.

    Bit-tech isn't going anywhere.

I like it, Joe. Without ass-kissing, bit-tech has been my go-to source for legitimate games reviews for the past 4 years.

Which begs the question...will bit-gamer have more game sponsors? I always felt that bit-tech's primarily hardware sponsorship was a major reason you guys could afford to be honest and offer up crap reviews to crap titles, and I'd hate to see it change.
