    hello,

not sure which one to buy they are all the same price so thats not an issue.

which one will give best game performance @ 1920x1080.

Only thing im worried aobut is the 2x4770 wont do well at this res cause of the 512mb memory.

i cant find any bencys of this yet. only 1 crossfire review andi dont know what settings they used.

so which would you say is gunna give me best performance or is there also another card in around the £150-£200 price range ??? thats better

In general it's easiest and most consistent to stick to one card. The 260 and 4870 are pretty much on par with each other, but in individual games there can be some differences.

    Enjoy:

agree with p_p, try stick with 1 card, gives more consistent performance.

i'd say gtx260-216 because it's a tiny bit faster (unnoticeable i know) than 4870 in most games. but 4870 is also i good buy if you prefer ATI.

running 1920x1200 gtx260-216 here, all games maxed without problem, including GTA4 and Crysis.

I agree with getting a single card. As tempting as CrossFire or SLI might be there are usually driver issues to deal with and even when you get past these issues you probably be annoyed by the micro stuttering that multiple GPUs inevitably cause. That goes for cards like the HD4870/4850X2 or the GeForce 295GTX as well.

As they are both a similar performance and price, I would personally go for the GTX260 as you get the added advantage of CUDA, for them moment at least.

for just undr £200 you can get the gtx 275 on scan clicky it can play a lot of games at your res heres a review if the card i've skipped to the bench marks cus it's a large review and the 260 is in it so you can compare.
