Just installed new 2.5tb drive and when windows asked me to initialize it, I accidentally selected MBR instead of GPT, so I changed it back but drive still shows as 280gb. Motherboard is ASUS P5B Deluxe.

Intel Matrix Storage Manager is installed and sees the full 2.5tb. How do I correct this?

Go to disk management and delete or extend the partition

open cmd as admin, diskpart, select disk ?: (be very careful to select the correct disk), clean all
should remove the partitioning and hidden sector info allowing you to start over.
If that dosen't do it for some reason might need to boot into gparted and have a go there.
