Just watched the trailer, looks quality, don't know as it will be as good as the first one though, without Vin Diesel. As long as there's more car modification and high speed stuff it should be good. :D

    What do you think?

Why don't we all just shoot ourselfs first instead of watching the movie?:wallbash:

On a more serious note, I thought it was a joke when I saw the first commercial, but then I saw it again and realised they actually where making a sequal....

Honestly it looks rubbish. The stunts might be ok but the rest i.e story, actors etc look no where near as good as the first.

Ok, I mostly listen to rap/hip-hop, but will they please stop putting rappers in movies. They simply cant act (with the exception of one or two). :grr:

W3rd. Will Smith in Ali was just Will Smith doing the most OTT impression of Ali ever. Hardly a great performance, just lots of yelling and eye rolling... straight out of the Al Pacino school of 'Woooooooooo-hhhaaaaaaaahhh'.

Fast and the Furious was a movie aimed at well average Americans, thus it wasn't
    - particularly clever
    - well acted
    - well scripted
    - a deeply plotted film.. or in fact a plotted film
    - well anything remotely good tbh.

Other examples of this sort of thing include Independence Day, Bad Boys, xXx, etc... The sequels somehow manage to be exponentially more dire, so I am guessing FF2 will be awful.

You cannot deny that in the twightlight years of Al Pacino's career that he hasn't become a bit of a OTT actor? Just about every recent film I've seen with him in, he gets in atleast one 'woooooooooooooo-hhhaaaaaaaaahhh!!!'. Have you seen The Recruit? Any Given Sunday? The Devils Advocate? Donnie Brasco... etc etc etc. He even did one in Godfather 3. Personally, like De Niro, they are just paying the bills now with roles and performances well below their worth.

I think it was called Gridlock'd. Yeah that was actually a pretty decent film... was that the one about the two junkies?

I think he's a great actor, IMO acting standards nowardays is so pathetic, that when an ace like Pacino takes a role and plays it fantastically he gets slated for "Overacting" Pacino in the end of Devils Advocate was just absolutely mindblowing.
