first of all i cant seem to get a modeline that works the same as before i formatted and i am relatively sure that i have tryed the same one as before second, my dvi refuses to work into xorg and didnt work booting into windows i have at least once gotten xorg working on the dvi at the right resolution/hz and it will post/show bios screen/boot text all up until gdm starts vid card is a geforce3 ti 500 with im assuming newest drivers
ok seems its the nvidia drivers then as when i change it to just nv it works just fine and looks much better, only problem is no 3d acceleration edit: well the older drivers will not compile on my kernel (6111's and before) guess its time for my new system
