Just saw this on fords site - have to say for a simple facelift its a nice change. The exterior is freshened up and the interior has a load of nice new features. No mention of engine choices yet, still holding out hope for the engines to come with SCI though.

Nice looking car--but I just don't dig the hatchback platform.

Looks good. It always amazes me seeing the quality difference between Ford Europe and Ford US.

It's the Mondeo with the back end cut off :/
Just doesn't look right as a hatch imo.

Yet again Ford produces a great car that no-one really appreciates for how good it truly is. The styling might be a bit bland compared to some cars, but it's nice imo. The quality of the interior in the new one is bloody brilliant, and the handling is pretty good too, certainly very good for a cheap family car.

Fords have too much plastic in them for my taste, something that you can't get away from being American owned. Though there aren't many cars that dont these days.

I really don't like the new styling route Ford are taking. The new Mondeo is hideous, but then, no Mondeo has ever been a looker.

I'll save opinion on this new Focus until I see one in the flesh. As with many cars these days you don't really get a sense for a car until you see it on the road.

They use a lot of plastics, yes, but (if the words can truly go together), they're nice-feeling, fancy soft-touch plastics. To be honest there isn't really another material that's really suitable for the interior of a cheaper car - leather is far too expensive, and wood would look absolutely ridiculous. There's Aluminum, but then again, would you really want a car interior that was all shiny? I probably wouldn't.

I really like the new Mondeo - the styling's something a bit new, not to everyone's taste, but at least it has presence, and stands out from the rest of the traffic.

looks nice bit more aggressive than the current revision.

guess its personal taste but i find the focus really easy to drive. certainly allot nicer to drive than vauxhall equivalents

Don't really get that one mate - they don't really look alike to me tbh... Not considering they're hatchbacks from identical segments of the Euro-car market... I can see some similarities in the headlights, but I think their position is slightly restricted by crash regs anyway.

I'd have that orange Focus over the Civic any day. That really is saying something.
