Good race I thought, props to JL for that fight. Was interesting up until MM decided he wasn't going to go after Pedrosa - as Stavros said, probably as a 'gift' after the last race's events. Moto2 crash was
Well. If Marquez wins next time and Pedroa is second, championship over. If Marquez wins next race, he needs only 1 point from the last two regardless of what happens. Even if Lorenzo wins all three remaining races, Marquez only has to come sixth at each to still be champion. That's quite a rookie season. Gutted for Scott Redding, moto 2 title is looking less and less likely now, 9 points in hand over Espargaro. The crash, I'm amazed that the two guys who ran each other over (well, one ran the other over and the first's bike came back round and hit the second guy sideways in the head) stood up and walked away. Ten out of ten for the front flip whoever that was!

The MotoGP was an absolute shambles. Why did I get up to watch I ask gggrrr. Dorna obsvously didnt want the championship over so quickly. But there is good news and has made my day TOM SYKES is WSBK champion well done jaws and well deserved.
It was an interesting shambles, Marquez' DSQ was Honda/Marquez' fault, it was the same shambles for everyone and they cocked it up. It was quite funny seeing the reaction on the pit wall, it was as if the little Japanese men were saying "You can't disqualify us, we're Honda! Race control had specifically told all the riders and teams that they had to pit at the end of lap 9 or 10 or they would be disqualified, Marquez went in at the end of lap 11 (so did Staring), game over, oops. On a different note, Marque and Lorenzo seriously need talking too (or threatening with a big stick), they're colliding more or less every race now and if some measure of control isn't restored someone's going to end up dead, be it one of them, another rider or some poor marshal who gets a face full of motorbike. Regardless of all of that, Dorna needs a kick in the teeth, this whole weekend should never have happened.
^ agree 100%. An interesting shambles indeed. Here's hoping the championship now goes to the last race The feature with Casey that the BBC did was interesting too. I don't think he'll be back next year - the only place I can see him going back to is Honda, and I suspect Honda are going to give Pedrosa another year. So 2015 perhaps, if it ever happens. Stoner vs MM vs JL would be interesting to say the least
Been reading through this article below, Honda believed they could go to the end of lap 11 but why would they believe that when its either 9 or 10. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/...wins-marquez-disqualified-060545198--spt.html Seems really odd as you would have thought after dani pitted on lap 9, Marquez would come in on 10 as Lorenzo did. I wonder if Honda where told lap 11 to get Marquez disqualified to keep the title going.
Nah, I think Honda are so used to having the final say on everything from bike regs to rider penalties it never occurred to them that they could be disqualified.
@RTT Who would they want to replace him with, who isn't entangled with contracts for that year. I just can't see it happening. Given he has been with Repsol Honda for so long (with the associated pay), I bet he cares more about the bike then the money http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/197381/1/pedrosa_poised_to_become_second_highest_scorer.html
My point was that if Casey wanted to come back next year, Honda would likely have little regard for Pedrosa's remaining contracted time. They'd either pay him off or just run 3 bikes if they had to
Casey will never come back, every time he misses GP racing some political or procedural or technical BS will show up and remind him why he couldn't wait to stay home and raise his kid in the first place. I can see him doing lots more development work for Honda though, all the bike riding, none of the circus monkeying.
I don't think we'll see him next year but according to various people (Doohan being one!), 2015 is a distinct possibility. However, I too don't agree, and I don't think he'll be back - too much humble pie for him to eat if he did
