I'm getting a sick feeling about Jorge and Danped, they keep getting cleared to race when they really shouldn't be. If the coming months play out like the last one it's only a matter of time before one of them loses a limb or bleeds out when bits of collarbone or screw pierces a lung or an artery. I don't really want to watch that happen.
Bit late to the punch, but the reason Pedrosa is still with Repsol, is quite simple (ignoring the spanish element), he has only been beaten twice in those years by a team mate, Hayden in his rookie year, Stoner (well lets be honest, who could have stopped him that year, that was about as close to magic as you get), and Dovi, who only just managed it despite Pedrosa missing 3 races that year and being nowhere when he returned at Mugello, and then won the next race. But also compare race wins, Hayden 3 from what about 6 years at Repsol Honda, Dovi 1 from 3 years at Repsol, how many has Dani won while teamed with them? To put it another way Marc, equalled Dovi's wins (in the big class) in only his second race, and he will probably top Hayden's talley, by season end. Honda knew they were flogging dead horses with them (and I like both of them). Stoner and Marquez, were pretty close to killing Pedrosa's time at Repsol, and that would have been awkward with the way last year went in the second half. As for Cal replacing Pedrosa at Repsol next year, would be pretty pricey since Pedrosa is signed for next year allready, would have thought Gresini would have been more likely. Not sure why people would say Honda are disapointed with Bradl either, considering they upped him to factory kit at the start of the season.
Now this is an intersting prospect, thou Yamaha offering to subsidize Cal's wages (think he would rather a better bike thou) is hardly unprecedented, they used to pay Edwards wages while he was at Tech 3 http://www.motomatters.com/analysis/2013/07/20/yamaha_s_crt_replacement_a_full_bike_wit.html
For Hayden, it's three wins and a championship, which puts him ahead of Pedrosa since the name engraved on the trophy is Hayden. Also Honda gave Hayden the infamous stonewall treatment in Dani's favour for a few years, that can't have helped. Dovi I agree with you, he was never quite fast enough, but he was also designated number 2 rider. Dani's been Honda number 1 since 2007, which puts hims against Stoner, Hayden, Rossi etc, they've all put at least one title on the board, Dani hasn't. I can see Cal staying at Tech 3 or going to LCR if there's a contractual promise of a spot on Yamah/Repsol in place of Rossi/Danped come 2015 when the contracts expire (and Rossi presumably retires), I'm not sure money by itself would be a great motivator.

I love your photography Bobby, absolutely every shot you've posted on this forum has blown me away, especially the racing ones! WTB your skills
@ fix-the-spade Yep he won the title on 06, but you can also see why Honda didn't think it would happen again. But on more intersting note, Bradl on pole
Should be a good race as we have the full field again and it will be interesting to see if Carl can get a podium with Lorzeno and Pedrosa both back.
EPIC WSBK race one, Spoiler shame Sykes blew up spectacularly the F1 boys should watch this and bitch less. And yet.... RIP Italian superstock racing dude. That was a horrendous crash, ragdoll doesn't even come close.
A good move by Marquez and a great ride by Bradl, its a shame that Bautista could not get past Rossi for a front 3 Honda finish. Carl was quite poor considering he stayed behind Pedrosa and Lorezno both who are injured but his bike does lack the speed.
Cal said they just struggled to make the bike work well all weekend and there wasn't much he could do. Dunno if anyone else saw it but during quali (or maybe FP4) there was a shot of him coming into the pits, thumping the tank and storming into the back of the pits.
No probs mate i can do that for you. Might be a few days though as i used up all my play time yesterday
