    And another from Georgey boy:

"MotoGP: #MotoGP @lorenzo99: "My priority is to stay at Yamaha and I would like to stay all my career. I work on track and my manager works on that.""

Well, Honda are rumoured to have offered Dani Pedrosa an new contract for 2015, with a seventy five percent pay cut among the minor details..

So it's only a rumour, but if it's even half true that Honda have gone from e6Million to e1.5million and results dependent bonuses, it must surely be a sign that Honda are belatedly running out of patience with Dani.

I think that's a sensible move for Honda - it's ruthless, but motivating.

I think if I was Pedrosa I'd stay. He's not going to win, no matter what bike he's on, so he may as well just stick with the best bike/team? He probably doesn't need the money, after all, after 8 years on HRC's payroll

I think the opposite, he's not going to win, so he may as well take every giant chunk of money he can and start a property empire or something.

I'm sure Suzuki are interested, in fact I have no doubt, but it's an unproven bike (so lots of spotlight/pressure/PR ******** to take care of) and Suzuki may as well try and use someone like RdP (who they've had testing/developing the bike all along, as I'm sure you know), and then an up and coming rider from Moto2 (Tito or Maverick would do nicely!). Actually I just assumed they're running two bikes, which probably isn't a given. Hmmmmm!

Did i just call Vinales up and coming? :D

Bridgestone are bringing last years tyres to Mugello, which might throw Lorenzo back into the mix. Also, this goes against what Bridgestone said in CotA, which was that bringing last years tyres was an exception and would not happen again. Draw your own conclusions...

CotA was a disaster for Lorenzo this year, maybe Bridgestone are out to get him.

Mel Sykes officially off the team at BT Sport - shame for the lady, but she did come across seriously out of her depth, even though she apparently knows her stuff.

Need to get Toseland some presentation skills training - his delivery is as flat as a witches simile, and whisper to him that he needs professional advice on hair dye colour - but that would sort that out.

I'm actually increasingly impressed with Hodgson - he's starting to look like he's enjoying himself - and is getting both more interesting, and more informative with it.

Certainly won't miss her - agree with you on Hodgson too.

Lorenzo back up near the top today, last years tyres really play to his advantage!

Was a poor choice from the start, really should have picked someone else.

Q2 was interesting to see Iannone in second, shame Pedrosa didnt manage better then 4th- seemed to be the best out on track in free practice.

Mugello was one of the best races i've ever seen - right up there with Barcelona 2009 and Laguna Seca in 2008. :eeek:

I fully agree the race was superb.

Personally I would have rather seen Rossi fighting for the win but alas it all made Marc look a little bit more Human, despite him just relaxing for a while as it seemed,

Catalyuna should be excellent, its one of the fan favorites

That was a superb race - top drawer - great to see Jorge genuinely challenging Marc - this has the potential to be an epic season.

Hopefully Catalunya will be just as good - but no guarantee they will be bringing 2013 tyres again, and if not, Lorenzo may be back down in 6th-ish somewhere :(

It's always difficult to express how horrible and devastating motorcycle racing deaths are - but at the same time acknowledge that the rider knows the risks before he/she sets out - especially at the TT - and so in some respects, taking these risks is the riders own personal choice.

This doesn't detract from the impact to family and friends however.

    Nasty news. :(
