    360 250GB with Kinect @ £219 is interesting.

My 6th 360 (120GB Elite) has finally thrown in the towel* so I need to get a new one.

As I have been out of the loop for a while is there a quick and easy way to transfer all of the data I have on the Elite over to the new console?

*It switches on but the screen gets covered in coloured squares as soon as I attempt to game. The DVD drive also stopped working. Rather oddly it used to give me the 3 red rings on its side but not stood up?!

Maybe Tesco can buy these up and resale them as used.

    I havn't had 6 Elites not but I have had 6 360's since launch.

    2 x launch consoles (1 x core and 1 x Premium) DOA.
1 x Premium Died with RROD within a few days.
1 x Pro which died with a single RROD (the worst one), replaced with a Pro which I sold.
Finally the Elite has been going strong since its launch (directly replaced the pro I sold above). It has only been recently that it started acting up. Now it just doesn't work as a console anymore. It switches on but I can't game on it without it artificating like crazy.

During the times when the 360's kept dying I got very friendly with Microsoft customer support.

My launch 60GB PS3 (Fat model with all the trimmings) is still going strong despite being taken apart on numerous occasions.

We bought one of these for my step son at Christmas. What they do not tell you is that you need a huge space to use it - a normal sized bedroom in a semi-detached doesn't cut it. Now I know why the actors are pretending to play in a stadium-sized room in the ads.....
