Would like to see the Unreal 2 storyline continued if I'm honest... the possibility of a singularity cannon wielding Brawl shapped hole in the wall... is something I've always wanted to follow up!

    UT4 & UT2 Expansions would be lovely...
    p.s. Bulletstorm kicked ass...

Bulletstorm didnt make them any money? The combat was epic! Come to think about it, I might give it another spin!

And oh UT is so dear to my heart, those are my favourite fps's

Just launch your games on Steam if you're concerned about piracy, its not like you sell too many boxed copies anyway.

well, you can't blame them for beating a cash cow while it's still hanging on.

part of me can't help but feel their next UT or Unreal game will be a console only title :(

Bulletstorm sold a million, they must have really gone over budget. Also I have no faith on a good UT given their console focus.

UT4 please. And do it properly, UT3 was half baked. I don't see how piracy would be much of an issue for a multiplayer fps. And do it just for PC, console gamers can go jerk off to GoW.

This. Unreal 2 had a pretty decent setting (albeit the story was a little simple), I'd love to see it expanded more in the future.

"Bulletstorm didn't make any money for the studio"

Maybe that'll stop them pretending that they can't make PC exclusives because all PC gamers are pirates.

Yeah, I thought Unreal2's setting was great. It's a game that was quickly forgotten despite its big-name pedigree, but it was actually pretty good.

Well I lively remember the first part of Unreal where you climb out of the huge ship wreck and seeing the waterfall. It was one of those 'wow this is awesome!" moments which I will not forget. I didn't/don't give a damn about the UT franchise...

This, too! I still get goosebumps when I hear the music from that area.
Unreal's visuals have dated, but to my eyes they are still artistically gorgeous and that's one of the areas that really left an impression on me in my youth.
I feel like playing it now, in fact. :hehe:

The Epic that made Unreal isn't the same company we see today, though. One would be forgiven for thinking that judging by the games alone, at least.

Epic disaster. Epic console bollocks. One or two good PC games followed by a bunch of mediocre ones. Their greatest legacy is the UDK DX11 engine. Hopefully we may see a whole series of innovative games springing up that weren't developed by Epic (and thus doomed to fail). Hawken is one such independant game in the works.

I for one love UT3 and still get some multip. joy from it now and again.

An addition to the franchise should only be a good thing.

One of my favorite gaming moments that. Then spawning Nali over the edge of the cliff and watching them fall. I still to this day think Unreal has the prettiest water in a game. Unreal also has the best music.

Unreal and Unreal 2 are brilliant games. I've lost track of the times I have played them over the years. Most of the Tournament series was great fun too.

I agree with several others here that it would be awesome to see the Unreal 2 story continued.
