    Wow, loved the original - probably the first LAN game we played (as opposed to serial-linked), remember running around with Netware Lite boot floppies and hacking PROTOCOL.INI files to get the IPX stack working...

    Remember also in ROTT the function keys played sound clips to other players:
    "Guess what I have!"
    "Behind ya!"
    "You got me..."

    I still have the floppies for this game. I remember asking my dad to write a cheque so I could post it off to America to get the full version.

    Seems I had forgotten all about that game... will have to hunt through the old games and see if I still have it. Will be looking forward to seeing how the remake comes out.

    this was the cause of the first time I broke a computer! It was my dads computer, and I think I just turned it off, from the power, mid game, and computers used to be a bit funny about stuff like that, but yeah it wouldnt boot again, and the next day I remember my dad angrily re-installing windows and everything else. And telling me, "I've told you so many times that you have to shutdown the computer properly!".

    Ironically, its him that asks me for IT assistance these days.
