    agree.

    and for anything bigger than 24inch, look at the 27inch iMac as all other monitor that is bigger than 24, smaller than 30 are not worth buying.

    correct in both case, but no other manufacturer make a monitor that's between 24 and 30 with a high enough resolution and a good enough IPS panel.

    No, and from what I hear Apple have stolen all the current stock of those panels (LG I believe) for their iMacs so there won't be any monitors based on them for a while, though hopefully we'll see some more reasonably priced high res monitors which are smaller than 30" (which is too big for everyday use IMO) soon enough. Even 1920*1200 isn't enough of an upgrade from 1680*1050 for me, and I don't like to spend more than £300-£400 on a monitor.

    same here, 30inch too big and too expensive, a £500 IPS high-re 27inch would be perfect.

    I Agree, I run my 24 in his native resolution 1920-1200. I tried the 1920-1080 but its not impressive...
