Electronics 24c08 flash eeprom read/write, anyone?

Hi all

I'm wondering if anyone on here can help me,

I need to read the data off a 24c08 eeprom chip and then flash to it a new BIN file,

how would i go about building a suitable programmer?

looks like this app note pretty much covers it. even has code to program a micro controller.

just make sure the write protect pin isn't active (high is wright protection, low is no write protection, i believe)
