Or you could just buy a Raspberry pi.

Trouble with the Raspberry Pi is it's ARMv6 - which the APC 8750 was, too. The APC Rock, APC Paper (and the wonderful open-source Olimex A13-OLinuXino) are Cortex-class ARMv7 devices - which makes them significantly more powerful than the Pi. It also means they can run software the Pi cannot: there's still no workable build of Android for the Pi, nor can it run any version of Ubuntu newer than 9.04 - both software packages that work fine on Cortex-class processors.

Basically, if you don't care about performance or compatibility and you're on a budget, buy a Pi; otherwise, hold out for a Cortex-class chip.

MK802II is a much better choice than Raspberry Pi and costs the same, and odroid-U is a better value than both. RPi is kinda obsolete these days considering there are better-valued products out there or just simply more useful ones.
