Hello. I am in some serious help of finding a new monitor.

The monitor must be a 30 inch. Not 27 or 24 but 30 inch! :)
    Resolution must also be 2560x1600.

What shall I use this monitor for?

FPS games mainly but also some RTS like SC2 and Diablo 3.

So guys.. What can you recommend me? The price doesn't really matter. I just want a 30 inch monitor that can be used as a gaming monitor first and foremost.

Thanks for your time reading this.

    Best regards

I've moved this to the hardware forum as you're more likely to get a response here!

from what i've read the dell U3014 has the lowest input lag of the 30 inchers when set to 'game mode'

They just aren't built with that in mind, so they're all not a first choice for gaming only, but if you want big, and you want 1600, then the 3014 seems a good call, and Nexxo's suggestion of a used 3007 would be another... I'd go with either of those two.

Assuming you want new. Del U3014, is the only 30inch monitor (you have only a handful really.. so that is why.. (small market)), would be the best for gaming and workspace.

    The 3014 is 16:9 which means 2560x1440, not 2560x1600...

So, the LP3065 is also a choice, as is the ZR30W.

The 3007WFP, I would recommend the non HC one just because wide gamut can be a pain in the ass if you don't have color profiled apps.

There are actually quite a few options but those are the ones I can remember. The 305T is a decent option if you don't mind the S-PVA, but the LP3065, the U3011, the 3007WFP are the most obvious choices.

And the NEC 3090WQXi of course.

If you can afford that monitor you can afford a Titan ;)

For the price of that monitor you could easily build a high end pc and import a 4K TV from America.

I will wait for the price of the monitors to actually be realistic before I buy one, but the Asus one does look like a decent monitor.

    ^^

You really have to watch the spec of 4K panels, people are cutting corners on the cheap stuff.
