Nothing worse than a leaky laptop

Interesting, I wonder what's going to happen to the shop who leaked this info.

Although to be honest, the Nvidia site has had drivers on it for a while now for the 700 series of cards.

Probably nothing as i dout they buy there parts direct from nvidia or intel.

Most small shops buy from business websites that sell the parts.

Not sure but could be more to do with low performance part rebrand shenanigans. I was browsing through laptops for my wife lately and came across a couple equipped with Geforce GT 730M and 710M.

Anandtech speculates these are rebrands for GT 640M and 620M, respectively. Nothing that Nvidia hasn't done before, repeatedly.

Quite possible that, that is the reason for them being on there :)

Maybe there will be no 700 series for Desktop PC's, and maybe they will jump to the 800 series like they did with the GTX 280 to GTX 480 and skipped the 300 series for the desktop.

The 300 series were made... They were only for OEM's...
