Don't think so. There's a whole geek market for compact mechanical keyboards, and this makes for a very accessible purchase.

Got anything to back that up?

It would be far from ideal as a replacement office board however I almost never use my cursor keys etc at home, but I do use the keypad, so this would be a viable option if I was tight for space on my desk.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The idea of keeping the number pad but losing the cursor keys and six key home pad? Exactly what IBM did for my Model F mechanical keyboard, over thirty years ago. No, really.

I think you need some more flash storage, Gareth.

Those extend right the way across the lip of the keyboard. Mostly SD cards, ranging from 64MB to 4GB, with a couple of card readers, two wireless dongles, and a bunch of USB flash drives - again, the biggest being 4GB. They breed, I tells ya.

I assume that the legal wrangle between CM and Filco about side printed keys in the EU has been sorted now then? Because the Stealth line has only been available outside the EU up to now due to Filco owning the patent for side printed keys here.

Also, unrelated but the standard TK has been available for some time now, this is just the ninja version.

I saw a video about this board with greens earlier (well, I saw the title, didn't watch the video)

Maybe greens will finally come to the EU?

I was looking at the US version of the stealth because I really liked it, but I have a real issue wit the top right corner of this board.

I was thinking browns for my first mech board. Also key kids, how would a US layout version go in terms of getting key sets?

US layout is easier to get key caps for (although ISO is catching up, ANSI is still the default most places)

    Just mod it. For example:

    becomes

with a bit of elbow grease.

How would I get that down without damaging the acrylic?

You could fill and paint with vinyl dye, or remove the acrylic LED windows, or if you're really adventurous redesign the LED positions.

Note that the latter option is way beyond me, since I suspect they are surface mounted LEDs. But it'd be fun trying.

I've been using the normal one with brown switches for 9 months now and I have found the layout very easy to use and the build quality feels very solid.

So how much is $94.95 euros?

Does that mean it's the same in Dollars as it is in Euros?

It's $125 give or take, but I expect it'll be cheaper than that in the States.

US layout is easier that UK layout for sure but that board has non-standard modifiers (ctrl, alt, win etc) which would be a pain to sort keycaps for (well more of a pain that a more standard board anyway)
