Ohh, very nice! 18 3.5" drive slots - that's a lot of storage! If I wasn't happy with my current desk I'd be looking into it.

On the other hand, I wonder if the frosted glass top can have a smoky, more opaque cover - I wouldn't want all the components with LEDs blinding me whilst I'm using it.

Do it in a wood finish and they'll sell three times as many.

You know the next logical step is for computer to be built into the house with liquid cooled radiator providing under-floor heating.

Agreed. A black finish as per my Habitat desk would be better IMO.

Already done it. When rebuiding my house I put two WC loops in. One in the kitchen floor and the other in the crawlspace under the living room. Only one of them in use (under living room), cooling CPU, MB ang VGA. Currently the water going out from the PC is at 23c and the only sound is the fan on the PSU.

I'm lucky to live in an old decrepit freezing cold house that doesn't even get warm in the summer and don't need any cooling for my PC what so ever, in fact in the winter I just take the side casing off and we all sit round it singing xmas carols and eating mince pies to keep warm (P.S. we only eat the mince pies recommended by your good selves of course)

Ah, the old P4 CPU - what sturdy and reliable room heater it is.

Soon to be replaced by the AMD R290x GPU. :p

£1350,-- is totally worth it. In terms of expansion it's the only PC case you'll ever need to buy.

I wonder when someone is going to do an MNPC Tech style aluminium test bed for mass production.

OK, OK, OK. I'd make a desk a bit more Norman Foster looking, with integral triple monitor stand. I'd have transparent LCD panels mounted under the glass top, with underneath those that nice new adhesive transparent sheet that turns opaque at the flick of a switch (and backlit) so that it can double as transparent top showing the lovely computer innards and as an additional computer screen.

Man, and I haven't even started my current project yet...
