Im thinking of upgrading to a 2600+ or the 2700+ the problem is i dont know much about the 2700+ and Asus hasnt been very good in telling me if my motherboad is compatiable with it. I have heard the 2600+ is a good overclocker, compaired to the 2200+ which i have now, but whats the deal with the 2700+? Also the avaliablity of both of them is low so if not the 2600+ or 2700+ what else? One last thing :D does anyone know the position on a 2700+ working on a A7V333?

Well the main difference is with the 2700+ you would get the 166 FSB instead of the 133FSB on the 2600+ Last time I checked AMD's site the only mobo's that would utilize the 166 FSB were from MSI. That has probably chnged by now though. Most likely you Asus board would support a 2700+ at 133FSB speeds and you would have to overclock for the extra 33.

to be honest though, the speed boost would be very small from a 2200+. you problalbly wouldnt even notice it :) you may benefit more form like more memory, or better faster memory and speeding that upa little :)

They have now released 2600+'s with the 166 FSB so now there really is not much difference at all :)
