Interfering with an american aircraft in a post 9/11 world?

That has to be just about the most moronic choice of crime.

I wouldn't be suprised if they don't class it as a terrorist threat to be honest.

Somone's going to be playing "pick up the soap" for quite some time.

People like this are why we can't have nice things. Luckily (naturally unfortunate for those affected) the bomb threat's probably got a few too many parties involved, I wonder if they'll now be tracked down? Bunch of tossers really.

Well they classify bringing your nail clippers on a plane as a terrorist threat. So I would think a bomb hoax would easily fall into the same category.

The DDoS happened just before scheduled maintenance, so they delayed it. Ergo, you ran in to it.

Making bomb threats like that is a good way to find yourself on a one way flight to guantanamo bay.....

Can't be the sharpest tools in the shed...

The only reason they did the bomb threat is because the idiot Sony guy twitted what flight he was on and its departure time ! these 'hackers' probably just saw the bomb threat as a golden opportunity to mess with Sony even more.

Ddos has been known to kill routers and switches so, aside from the scheduled maintenance they may also have to replace some hardware.

CIA poses as internet hacker group. Hassles Sony to make it look like Anonymous. Claims bomb is on plane....

    ...1 year later....

Even stricter laws passed in the USA to lock down personal freedoms.

    ...1 year later...

    The UK does the same.

    Just saying :p
