What would you do if your AMD motherboard did not have the 4 mounting holes but your waterblock needs them?

Either get another waterblock or another motherboard..

I made sure and got a block that mounted to the socket but when I got my new board it had the holes through it, but I used the socket clamps anyway since it was so easy.

Hehe, same problem with me. First it was my Swiftech heatsink.. now it limits my choice of waterblock. I'll be checking in future, because as it stands I can only pick blocks with AMD holddowns, and I really do like the look of custom copper blocks.

Good thing I read the review of the MSI K7N2G-ILSR, because it doesn't work with Swiftech waterblocks. The Abit NF7-M does though :p
