Perhaps the guy likes a wireless router up one of his orifices?

Kickstarter has now pulled the campaign - which bans it from being relisted in the future, although I don't know what the rules are in allowing Germar to list different projects under his current account. Germar hasn't given up, though: he's currently asking people to 'pre-order' the device through the Anonabox website, which - naturally - offers none of the guarantees you'd get with Kickstarter (which are already pretty weak in terms of making sure you get what you paid for.)

Once people send all their traffic through tor including their location tagged cat pictures on facebook and so on the privacy will be about as watertight as a cloud over the UK.

So the selectiveness of which traffic goes through tor by using the torbrowser is pretty much an essential component, plus routing all traffic through tor also has the potential to cause some severe performance issues.

In other words, I doubt it would be possible to do what was promised even if the guy who started the kickstarter wasn't a fraud.
