2800+ barton question?

    after lookin around on the net i was suprised to c 2800+ barton clockspeed is meant 2 b 2250mhz while mine is 2083mhz, is this normal or suttin, just a matter of interest as some ppl have told me my multiplier is unlocked

    Really? I have the same processor and mine runs at 2083Mhz at 166Mhz fsb, I have tried increasing the Fsb, but that doesnt work. I've looked at the datasheet from AMD and I thought the clock speed was 2083mhz for that processor

    I am not sure about the multiplier, I think I probably got the newer versions which are locked

    mine is unlockd as i over clocked to 2.2ghz @ 186fsb and it shows as a 3200+ in bios and windows,

    3200+ runs at 2.2ghz
    2800+ runs at 2083MHz

    186fsb? havent tried that no, mite try it, 166 works for me, 200 doesnt, havent tried in between..

    UPDATE: Nope, doesnt work, I'll just stick with 166fsb, I'm gettin an Athlon 64 in about 5 weeks anyway.
