    The perfect board I'd like to see would be a Thin mITX with a full 16x slot, on the opposite side of the board (i.e. right side rather than left,, if you take the IO panel as the top). That would allow for an insanely compact folded setup, without the fiddling with an mPCIE to PCI-E adapter (and drop to 4x speeds).

    Hmn, yeah that would be neat if they made the pci-e slot like this

    so the gpu could be flat along with the motherboard thus keeping the 'thin' factor.
    There are some more current itx thin boards out there I've seen which I couldn't find with pci-e like that... but they are specialist networking/firewall oriented stuff and really expensive.
