Why couldn't this of been on sale about 4 weeks ago when I bought my 4850. I am gaming on a 19" at 1280x1024,
    q6600 at 3.0ghz 2gb 8500 ram and a corsair 620.

I could get this card which is normally worth 630$ but I did just buy a 4850 for 200. and the performance isn't that much better, really. just an extra 20-30 fps. Am I better off getting a good gpu cooler and overclocking my 4850 for only about 60 bucks?

    what would you do?
money isn't a huge factor but givin the choice i'd rather not spend money.

only if your 4850 can't handle some of the games you want to play. don't buy it for future games, because in the future it will cost even less. i haven't played at 1280x1024 lately (1920 Cheesecake), but i can't imagine that the 4850 struggles with much.

don't be fooled by NCIX's marketing. this isn't marked down by $340. it's worth $450, not $630. still a good deal though.

Ok, thats what I needed. Someone to knock some sense into my head. I was looking at parts for a friend who wants a pc and came upon that sale. Impluse shopping sucks.
the 4850 does handle what I throw at it so yeah, might as well save my money for what I really need it for. paying off my debt.
