Looks ok. Dont think id ***** that much money on a asrock though. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128494 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131759 Better choices id have thought.
AsRocks of late have actually been very stable. In fact they're very good in terms of quality now. They used to be an Off Brand Asus, but now they're pretty competitive with Asus. If you want pure OC'ing, BioStar, they're bare bones but they overclock like mad. The AsRock motherboards I've used for a few builds are fantastic.
I want to state the obvious, but nobody has said it, when you come to the US... newegg.com is the place to buy in terms of a no hassle retailer. It seems you linked to prices there, but I thought I'd show them my support, and also I imagine a few people in the UK are not sure where to link you to prices. Also, if you find yourself near a MicroCenter you can often save a few bucks on LCDs, cases (only because of shipping costs), and they seem to always have the 2500K for 179.99 vs 220.00 on newegg.
Thanks for the tip. It turns out there is a Micro Center near my campus, and I'll take advantage of that for sure. I need some help with deciding on a good case. It can be Full Tower or Mid Tower. What case do you think provides the best bang for the buck?
No problem, its the only reason I went to MicroCenter but it feels like a storefront for Amazon/Newegg when you walk in, which was pretty cool for me. As for cases, I think a lot of people like the Antec 300 in terms of bang/buck. I'm running my machine in the Define R3 right now and its nice if you want to keep it quiet. I also considered the Cooler Master 690 II Advanced. (they have a nVidia edition now, it seems) Though I'm not sure where your budget lies for the case so it is hard to be too specific. Also, are you more concerned with having lots of room for Hard Drives, you going to water cooling?
