    hey all,

im looking for 2x 22" monitors as the title suggests.

max budget id say £250 for the pair so im looking at TN panels

i only game really on the PC aside from the usual web browse and post on here etc.

i actually have a samung 22" 2233BW which is a 1680x1050 panel and its done me fine for over 18 months so maybe buy another one although im looking at around £150 or so for it.

just thinking of doing a cheeky upgrade on my res maybe as come xmas ill probly get a new GPU.

    currently running i7 920 @ 4Ghz 6GB DDR1600, 1TB F1 and a 1GB 4870.

ooo must be vesa mount as im gunna using a dual monitor bracket for my low profile desk

as good as i am choosing hardware monitors is somwhere where i rather lack so any suggestion much appreaciated

I don't have any monitor suggestions, but let me know if you find a decent dual monitor bracket as I've recently been looking at getting one for my 2 22" monitors.

Do you want 1680x1050 or 1920x1080?

This one is on PCPros A list.

    BenQ G2222HDL

Two of them from Ebuyer would cost you £273 so a little over budget but might be your best option.

Just sold a 2232BW as well.

To be honest, monitors around that price range are all much of a muchness really. They're all going to be TN panels with 2-5ms response time, so you'll have a good idea of how they'll perform. I'd say just pick the one you like the look of most, make sure it has DVI/HDMI, and be done with it. You're probably worrying over very small differences.

yeah maybe but i seem to remember reading an article once in custom PC with a monitor round up using a few TN panels and there was a big difference between quality even though they had very similar specs
