3.5mm splitter, both ways?

    head phone splitter
    I'm pretty sure that i can use this to do xbox360 & PC threw one set of speakers, but saw a review on newegg on a particular 3.5 splitter that he says wouldn't work for this. so the question is, will it work, if not what can i use to do this?

    Yeah the above is to take one source and split into two outputs, it shouldn't work the other way around.

    It maywork, but you'll get huge noise.
    Get a switch box for a couple of pound or make your own up

    Yes it will work, however you could pickup noise from the other inactive device if its turned on.
    As DougEdey suggested, a switcher wouold be advisable.
