Cooling 3/8's or 1/2" fittings?

    this a repost, I guess stuff got wiped since the server crash... anywho...

    3/8 or 1/2 Fittings? I planned on using 3/8" I dont plan on doing major overclocking, will I see a notable performance gain from 1/2 over 3/8?

    Depends who you talk to ;)

    Think I am going to go with Aquacomputer and 3/8" OD...

    As you said you intend no heavy O/Cing, I don't really think one offers a big advantage over the other, as far as function goes.

    I'd say in your case, pick the blocks first, then match the lines & pump to them.

    yar nice tip black eagle, I'm a little limited on my block choice to a mobo with no screw holes. I've been looking at the swiftech block and the maze 4, I know the mace 4 can have 3/8" Also I was thinking eheim 1250, and a black ice rad in a loop with my gf4

    i think a 1250 would be well overpowering a 3/8" system/ 1048 will do you fine.

    yar, thanx for the tip olv. I'm still playing around with the different tubing I went to home depot and bought 3 feet of each diameter just to see how it would fit in relation to my machine
