A fixed voltage of 1.46 & a cpu fan fixed at 1200rpm......... Clear you bios settings and re test on stock. Should show if its a HW issue or a bad OC. Sent from my GT-I9100
hmmm why would they lock the voltage down on a unoverclocked CPU strange one Where did get t deadbolt? Not 3000RPM computers was it lol
Good spot - that's really high! I've got the same board and chip in one of my systems actually (well, it's the non -E board), so I can have a butchers later if you like? Mine is running at stock, as it's in a passively cooled Media PC case. I can assure you it doesn't get that hot!
I bought this from Yoyotech 3years ago and nhaven't had problems with it apart from the first heatsink. I've never changed any settings on it or over/underclocked it (had it set at standard when iordered it).
I'd be minded to make a note of whether the HDD mode is set to AHCI (and other relevant BIOS settings) and then give it a re-set to defaults, and also look at replacing the heatsink. Interestingly, is the RAM profile set to XMP?
well it looks like your CPU voltage is locked at 1.46 when it should be set to AUTO really. most of your settings should be Auto when not overclocking only thing you should change when not overclocking is Ram voltage (to match the manufacture specs) Disk priority (what drive it boots from) AHCI or IDE (depends what it was set as when you installed windows) I personally turn off motherboard devices I don't use like firewire..wake on lan stuff like that.
+1 for this. Sorry about my brevity of messages - I'm really busy at work but trying to be helpful too Looks like the overvolt might be your problem
*needsagifofsteamcomingouthisears* I understand about 1 in 5 of those terms... What I know about computers is pretty much how to turn it on, install a game, and change the occasional part. Everything else is Latin gibberish spoken by a Scotsman with a speech impediment.
Go into the bios there should be a default factory settings or safe settings use that and reboot that should put it all back to auto.
I believe he fixed his problems. System has been over volted for sometime. Hence the high temps. Now he needs a new mouse
