Electronics 3 pin mobo connectors

    This may be a dumb question but I want to dubble check. Do the three pin connectors on motherbards supply 12v I am talking about the connectors that are used for case fans and cpu fans

    black = ground
    red = 12v
    yellow = signal (rpm sensors)

    But remember that these connectors cannot supply more than 200mA in some cases, if you load them too hard, you could in worst case wreck your entire motherboard.
