    I'm in the middle of my first game, and I don't really know what to make if it to be honest. The game starts of interesting, but I'm in the middle and I don't know what really to do other than all out war with everyone. That's not a bad thing, but if I really wanted 'just a space war' I'd go play SotS2 which has far more intricate tactical space battles with only slightly less on the 4X side.

    I'm also disappointed by the lack of trade or espionage. Maybe it'll all click at some point and I'll enjoy it far more, but at the moment it seems fairly mediocre.

    Was reading that there's no scaling options either which can make text very hard to read on a higher dpi monitor or if your eyes not the best.
