What an absolute monster. This is actually a quite low price for anyone that needs double-precision compute or does a lot of matrix operations.

21 Billion transistors is pretty spectacular, from a sheer numbers perspective.

That's... surprisingly cheap for a Gx100 assembly (and one without any SMs disabled too). Even with one HBM2 die disabled, I'd expect they could make many times that price selling it as an SXM2 module or as an 'entry level' Tesla or Quadro card.

No, because there's no driver support. And we all remember the atrocities of doing a u-turn in driver 2. So. Much. Loading.

More importantly.... three grand and it doesn't even have RGB? What a ripoff.

Doesn't it? - other sites are already reporting gaming benchmarks.
It's terrible value as a gaming card, but for research in comparison to the $10,000 fully enabled cards it's a bargain.

I haven't seen any evidence of lighting. If it has RGB, I retract my joking complaint.

I know of a pro overclocker that picked one up... I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. :D
