    I really, REALLY hope Dead Island 2 gets released, and it ends up as fun as that first trailer and gameplay footage made it look way back when it was being developed by Yager.

    The first game was a proper co-op gem, even with it's hilarious characters, awful writing and occasional bugs.

    You and me both. Unfortunately as with most games in dev-hell / that have switched teams mid development that is very very unlikely. Just look at Duke Nukem Forever. Sure I can't see it being that bad but I honestly doubt we will get the game we and many others want.
