    I wonder if this will still work if you're using a dedicated GPU? If so that would make it pretty cool - using a part of the PC that's going unused.

    I can't see why not, other iGPU features (like Quicksync, or using it for display outputs) work just fine with a dGPU installed.

    So, is this a bit of insider dealing between the power industry, GPU makers and anti virus to make everyone's power bill huge and 'encourage' GPU upgrades by always running them flat out until the capacitors pop?
