    Long night, Gareth? ;)

    So, basically, Miyamoto is saying the free-to-play doesn't work, and fixed price does...despite all evidence to the contrary? I've got a friend he might want to talk to - he says that cartridges are the only way forward for gaming :D

    It works, until it doesn't.
    On mobile unless you are an established brand you have lottery winning odds of your app ever getting attention due to it drowning in the swamp.

    Even on PC it isn't much different, sure you have stuff like Dirty Bomb and Warframe that succeeded, not even to mention Fartnite which is making all the money, but for each one of those there are plenty of f2p titles that didn't make enough to keep the servers running...

    I'd blame it on the W key being dodgy, but everyone knows you can't kill a Model F.
