If you ever get the chance to see a HDR display DO SO. The effect is fantastic, and I look at a calibrated display all day.

It will be about £2000 / £2500 if reports are to be accurate for the 2 monitors with HDR that asus are releasing which is well beyond everyone but the ultra rich really.

Considering there are ultrawides on the market for over £700 that have no HDR, no G-Sync and less than a third of the refresh rate it won't be surprising to see this one up on the wrong side of £1500 or even £2000.

Sure its a lot of money, but it is an unparalleled set of features in a monitor and since we tend to spend a whole lot of time staring at monitors it is relatively easy to justify spending a whole lot of money on an absurdly good monitor unlike lets say a 18 core cpu or a Titan card.

I was intending to hold out for a ~40" HDR HRR G-sync monitor (none yet announced) as the eventual replacement for the current ultrawide (34" 3440x1440, 60Hz fixed), but this could be tempting.
