Nope it's not an mp3 players... the review of 'this thing' will happen ASAP, but the floppy drive wasn't the only thing I needed for the review, I'm waiting on some other bits :)

    i know what it is...

it's the toker industry 3000 PC...a built in, copper fin, remote resevior, serial port controlled, UV LED cluster illuminated, crack/bong combo pipe........and for the floppy, well, its a remote resevior system, so it uses the opening in the floppy drive to attach a space age clip for hanging the extension hose on.....the designers were actually stoned at the time and did not think to just include a piece of velcro, so they instead spent millions developing just the right retention mechanism to slide into the floppy drive...and why did he not know it needed this floppy.....cause they were also stoned when they did the instructions......

why all the strange hints and clues....well, those are the results of the testing process..need i say more ;)

send me a case badge.... :hehe:

Some sort of case that didn't have a couple of panels in it, therefore requiring a floppy to fill the hole? (and other things like cd for others?)

One of the new VapoChill cases?

I know the ChillControl thingy needs a serial port. Not sure if it needs a floppy disk to run teh software.

Well, it's my guess anyway :)

Heh and the biggest clue which no one twigged:

I mean what did you expect? When someone says you're definitely, never ever, absolutely never, ever getting a clue the next line is always a huge clue! Everyone knows that!

    :)

some sort of peltier? its either that or another cooling device. i mean after all there isn't much in a computer one could classify as "very cool" if you take it literally.
