So, a 2060 at 2070 prices? 3.5% quicker than an FE 2060 but 35% more expensive?

    Hard pass.

I can see at the very high end you can do some super deluxe overpriced model for those who've got so much money they just don't care, but several tiers down I don't know how they think this is going to work, particularly as the founders Nvidia card already has great design/components and the better binned chips?

So, we have an XX60 model Nvidia card that is priced higher than the launch MSRP of the GTX1080.

    What progress!

Agreed, those premium models of lower end cards are just weird as you'll always be better off getting a faster GPU...

We have told this to Asus repeatedly. Still they insist on sampling Strix exclusively, can't get our hands on mid-tier SKUs or mid-tier GPUs. No skin off my back, though

Asus makes $10 worth of improvements to the stock design and then charge an extra $120 for the privilege...bargain.

Triple fan cooling solution on a 2060..I mean, why???

Aye, surely the golden rule here is that the premium you charge for your fancy extra features can't be as much as the difference in price between your base product and the next one up the stack?

Baffling stuff from Asus, almost as if they don't actually want to sell any of these but want a willy-waving award for "most overpriced 2060"

I think I didn't pay much more for my 1080 Ti last year. Well, that was a great investment in hindsight, wasn't it?

If nothing else, Seeing a 2060 at £450 makes me feel better about buying an EVGA 2080 for £650 (with Battlefield 5 & Anthem inc) over the weekend ( & free next day delivery included, thanks Bit-Tech!!).

This is like going into an Audi dealership with the intention of buying an A1, then being convinced into buying so many options and extras you might as well have just bought an A4...

Maybe they ought to incorporate that into the branding...

I've come to the conclusion long ago that Asus customers are likely to be pipe smoking, slipper wearing, bearded Volvo drivers...or at least that's what they aspire to.

Take from that what you will.
