    Sadly no, stepping doesn't seem to be advertised or differentiated at retail level.

    And that's a huge issue, because there are likely to be significant differences in performance for certain takes between a CPU with hardware mitigations and one without.

    I remember some retailers advertising B0 steppings for some Intel CPUs quite a while back.
