I preordered a BL2 4 pack for £80 which had extras similar to the £65-75 BL3 Deluxe edition. £50 for 1 copy of the basic game on PC is too much. £100 for the Super Deluxe Edition is humorous. I'll wait a year and pick it up in a sale.

I know all but two of my gaming mates are waiting on Steam or a price drop.

Rick Lane said "it takes ages to complete"
This is what happens when developers pay attention to the £ / hours crowd

Whoever was on gun design is a talented person - the variety and animations are amazing.

I bought the super deluxe edition for £70 (pre-release) and for the cosmetics and 4x DLC (of which I've played all on BL2 and offer a good chunk more game time each) - I think that's a fair enough price for probably minimum 100 hours of gameplay across the lot. Depends how you value your time. If you go to the cinema and get 2 hours of entertainment for say a MINIMUM of £10 (without popcorn etc) then you can do the maths..

No it's actually when they're dedicated to providing lots of content knowing how long their audience has waited for it. Otherwise they could bash out five hours of gameplay a la a Call Of Duty title and charge the same price per pop.

At times I thought Borderlands 2 was too long. Then it ended and the waiting began and I was sad.

I'll never complain about a co op game being too long. It's probably one of the few times I feel happy to socialise.

10 hours of x quality gameplay = 100 resources required
    25 hrs = say 140 res
    100 hrs = say 180 resources

what if you used 180 resources to make 15 hours of gameplay - it might be 1.3x quality

give me more quality anyday - i'm only alive so many hours....
