    How do you create a "dock" with usb-c/tb whatever and forget to allow for charging the laptop via the dock?!

    Good question. Found this on the product page:- "1. FireCuda Gaming Dock does not provide power to laptops."

    My guess is that with TB3 offering 100 watts it isn't enough to power a gaming laptop, which usually have a 130 to 250 watts power brick. So you would still need to plug it in to actually game, plus it's cheaper, never forget the lovely lovely profit margins.

    Also just because a thing has TB3, doesn't necessarily mean it supports charging via it...
