    "Surprising turn of events"?

Seems perfectly in tune with the rest of the games industry and its recent obsession with remasters / remakes / nostalgia exploitation...

    Me reading this article:

"Update to the original Doom? That Is unexpected, and pretty rad. Wonder what Bethseda changed. Are they backporting all of GZDoom to DOS or something? Maybe I'll replace Marine's Best Friend on my DOS system, though them doggie sidekicks are cute."

"60 FPS mode? That doesn't make any sense, Doom uses a 70 Hz display mode. "

"Choice to play in 4:3? As opposed to what, exactly?"

"Support for community... are they making fun of us? The original Doom's ALWAYS supported WADs!"

"XBox One, Ps4.... oh, no wonder this makes no sense. The headline's a damn dirty lie. This has nothing to do with the original Doom, just the most recent rash of ports. "
