QLC needs to be a lot cheaper, or have a lot more effort put into coping with the atrocious sustained write speeds. But at least consumer SSDs are finally reaching capacities where they actually compete with HDDs. As nice as the Samsing PM SDDs are (which had 7.68TB capacities yonks ago) they are basically impossible to find here in Japan. Also, their wide form factor makes fitting them in motherboards something of a trial depending on M.2 slot location.
