If I was going to spend that kind of money on a keyboard, I'd go for the Logitrch G915 because it has most of this and wireless too.

I'm not going to spend that much on a keyboard, more than £100 more than my Filco (RGB free!).

    I don't really get it...

What is the point in Corsair wasting money on their own "go faster" Optical switches?

To compete against the Logitech and Razor "go faster" Cherry clones when they could just buy the readily available Cherry Speed switches?
And it isn't even like they are using the optical tech for analogue trickery to compete with the Wooting Two?

According to Corsair’s Website it’s available with both the new Corsair OPX, or Cherry MX Speed...

Seems like an even crazier decision given they are very similar switches, where’s the tactile and clicks options?

    Yep...

And if they didn't create them for the speed then what for? To compete with the Optical switches in the Wooting? Except that can't be the reason either since the Corsair ones don't even offer analogue functionality unlike the ones in the Wooting (which costs like £50 less just to rub it in).

Yeah, but remember it's a Corsair K series board so, just when you're getting used to it, it develops key chatter just to **** with you. It's the £230 gift that keeps on giving. :p
