    Wonder if they'll offload that stuff to Micron. Optane/3D-Xpoint is a joint venture between the two after all.

    I meant to type was rather than is.

    Though you're right, Intel already has offloaded a lot of that stuff to Micron, with Micron buying out Intel's stake in the both joint venture and shared fab in Utah [which iirc they promptly mothballed], finalising it this time last year.
