unfortunately that would actually mean I lost. I was down by 70 some votes at 12:00 pacific of the 30th. I really appreciate all the support. Its great to see the bit-tech community come together. Thank you guys!

 

You're very welcome Robo, and I really hope we'd get a good news Anyway, I still think your design is the best one. This floating thing looks cool but lets be honest, it doesn't add anything to the less featured 3Dconnexion device. No func button, no screen, nothing new !

I really doubt it is feasable in many aspect : Power concumption (no USB self powered, even a power brick won't do it), very expensive, second effect on health due to high constant magnetic field, second effect on hardware, how to maintain the know stable when you release it (will probably spin contunuously or oscillate) .... the one who designed this only took the aestetic into account and not the added value to the existing range of product. He did a designer job, not an engineer job ... and even the designer job is to think about new feature.

IMHO, you are the only one who successed in adding new feature and I'm pretty sure they noticed that.
