Burnout - Go for "Passive" 3D. You can get 3D clip-ons from a well-known internet auction site for a couple of quid.
    I haz some - they work.:thumb:

I'v been using youtube videos to test blurays before I buy them, So far I'v found a lot of the animated stuff is better than filmed.

MvA is Dreamworks, not Disney (and there's a spin-off TV series). :thumb:

Indeed. I'm used to watching films and can distinguish between between things that are near or far away, when filmed or presented in 2D. Presenting them in pseudo-3D - it's still a 2D screen - is just a gimmick.

What is really cool is total immersion cinema, such as 180 or 360 degree screens, or viewing on a headset that extends beyond the edge of your field of vision. Then you really feel that you're within the film.

On topic, I found "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare" to be one of the better 3D movies. The dream sequence in 3D was pretty exciting.

I've got a 3d TV (active) and i really love watching in 3d. Now I accept that it isn't Brilliant, and that a lot of people consider it to be a gimmick. I'm not one of them, I don't watch everything in 3d, in fact there isn't all that much at the minute, but what I do watch I enjoy a whole lot more than 2d. The only thing that I've not really enjoyed in 3d is Hugo. I really enjoyed the film but for some reason I experienced a massive crosstalk on that one.
